TERRA VERDE IN AJUY

What used to be an all sugar cane plantation in Ajuy, Iloilo that’s into muscovado production in 1912 and known as Hda. San Antonio has been converted into an integrated and diversified farm and an Agri-Tourism Farm Site  accredited by the Department of Tourism.

The conversion gave birth to Terra Verde, a heritage farm that produces a diverse set of products ranging from its rice production that includes purple rice, aromatic Malido and glutinous rice packed under the trade name El Jardin; cacao and coconut which are processed into tablea, coconut candy balls, homemade buko pie and even cassava custard and packed under the same trade name as the rice, home use vegetables, tropical fruits, and dragon fruits among others.

Inside the farm is an awesome habitat of fish, birds and reptiles. The river, ponds and the forested side offers the most natural ambience for its lagoons, cabins, open cottages, tree houses, restaurant and the pavilion.

Guests can go fishing and boating among other activities that they can indulge while inside the farm.
