Guimaras province is the mango market itself. When visiting the island province, more often guests are excited on buying mangoes to taste and to bring home. One doesn’t have to go far to have a taste of the world’s sweetest mangoes. Its displayed for sale in town markets, fruit stalls, small stalls along the road and if you are lucky enough, buy directly on a wholesale price at the harvest area. A slight price difference though between mangoes that are sold on retail along the food stalls and those that are sold whole sale at the farm gates. The sweetness of the fruits though are one and the same.
