Of course, swimming on its cold and natural pool is a must-experience for every guest. The natural swimming pool expands to at least 20 meters and extends to at least 40 meters. Its 3 to 4 meters deep at the center. The cold and clear water that’s in the natural pool comes from different natural springs of river.
Some say that taking a plunge on its clean waters is beyond relaxing as it provides healing powers. The water then pours through the Bugang River which is said to be the river with the clearest water in the region.
Malumpati got its name from “malumpat and ati” (the Aeta will jump). It is said that the Aetas, the indigenous people in the area loves jumping on the crystalline waters as their past time hence the name of the cold spring
