Food is everything so they say. Lanai by May’s Garden and Fresh Start is a local resto of organic products that are produced inside the farm. Located along Araneta Avenue, Bacolod City, the food haven showcases herbs, plants and food ingredients that are found in Negros Occidental.
Lanai serves delectable dishes twisted to accommodate the locally grown products of the province. A wide list of menu is available from the main dishes and down to the sides and salads and desserts.
The most interesting servings are the drinks. They are using locally made spirits in making their cocktails. Worthy of a categorical mention is their organic root beer soda which is concocted from the root beer plant but doesn’t even taste like a plant though has a stinging tongue taste of a beer.
The restaurant derived its name from the usual extension of living rooms. It features a roofed open space with palms inside and the fixtures are made of huge trunks of wood.
