When in Kalibo there’s the old Lolo Maning’s place that used to be an organic vegetable farm that promotes healthy living. Located in Brgy. Poblacion, it’s actually a farm in the middle of a modern suburb of Kalibo where papayas, cucumber and calamansi are planted among other high value crops.
Some personal circumstances led to the slowdown of the farm yet it continuous to produce natural juices cucumber calamansi juice, calamansi juice, coco water, ginger and calamansi juice,, lime and lemon juice. Meantime, the owner has opened his collection of bolos and bonsai for those who wish to visit the place.
The Kalibo Ostrich Farm on the other hand is located in Brgy. Tigayun, Kalibo, Aklan. By the name itself, the place has ostriches to show the visiting public. Most recently, several wild animals have been added by the owners as additional attractions. These include snakes, monkeys, wild birds, crocodile, lions and a tiger.
The ostrich farm also employs horses for those who want to go horse-back riding and ATVs for those who want to drive for adventure.
The farm has a restaurant that serves food and juices to its patrons.
