Punot Restaurant may have started in Estancia, Iloilo the province’ fishing hub in the North but its Iloilo City branch in Riverside, Diversion Road, Mandurriao has won the hearts of the Ilonggos and visitors coming from all over the country because of the authentic Ilonggo dishes they serve on the table.

 

Punot is an Ilonggo term for  fishpen which is very visible in the coastline of Estancia. At the restaurant overlooking the Iloilo Esplanade, the whisper of soft air blowing by the river and the view of the river itself adds more twist to the experience.
